I hope you are fully enjoying your summer so far. By now, you should have received a packet of “summer
reading”. Chamber music was delivered by some of the seniors in early June and the Sinfonietta music was
mailed to you this week. Please let me know if you have not received your “summer reading” and I will make
sure it reaches you. Use the orchestra website http://www.hudson.edu/sites/iriarter/chamber-orchestra-home
and http://www.hudson.edu/sites/iriarter/sinfonietta-home throughout the summer for sound and video files of
your music. The summer reading packet is only a part of the music for the year but will give you a good head
start. Use your music well and don’t forget to get new strings! There are always on sale throughout the summer
at select places.
